I've always been fascinated by the Basque language of northern Spain -- not related to any other language on Earth, with words that date back to distant prehistory.
And the Basque physique, with reputedly the biggest beneath-the-belt gifts on Earth. In 1999, Yuri and I visited Basque country to check.
So I did some searching with Google Translate, to see if I could get some visual evidence of Basque profundity.
1. Azkartza Metropol means "Speed City," but it's a water polo team. Some nice muscles, but a little deficient in the sausage department.
2. Another "Azkartza" water polo team. Not much of a sausage fest here.
3. Igeri taldea, a swim team. I like the abs, but again, I'm not impressed with much else.
4. Tolosadea IKT. Tolosadea is a province south of San Sebastian. The older guy isn't bad.
5. Gexto Igeriketa. Gexto is a suburb of Bilbao. Meh.
Maybe I would get better results with cyclists.
More after the break.
6. Txirrindulari, a champion cyclist. He's ok, but nothing to text all your friends about.
7. Lander Landitegek irabazi ("won"). Skinny, but the skinnier you are, the more prominent your beneath-the-belt gifts. I like the guy standing to the side, who looks upset because he didn't win.
8. Zaraustarra. It doesn't translate as a place name or a Basque word. The team isn't particularly impressive, but check out the coach.
9. Hemen ere agazkiak biluzik. "Nuts are also naked here." I have no idea what they're doing.
10. I also tried searching in Spanish, and found"Los remeros de Gexto, desnudos" The oarsmen of Gexto, naked.
Well, not entirely, but that is definitely a superior chest.

if you haven't already, look up basque (origins) & the R1b y-chromosome haplogroup (& western europe/global distribution of R1b as a whole). there are various interesting theories about that (basques). i favour ancient-origins - neolithic or earlier, but probably not "most-ancient" hunter-gatherer - over PIE displacement. (but that stone-knife basque word-root thing has been pretty much disproved or at least strongly disputed) i'm not up on what the current thinking is about how much the y-chrom. controls specific penis characteristics, however... but it would be interesting to find out :D
