Link to the version with the explicit photosuses the g*y word
Matt Linnen, apparently a singer. "Talent Recap," which posts videos of his work on youtube, is unaware that gay men and lesbians exist, or wishes that they didn't:
"Matt Linnen melts all girls' hearts with his voice!"
"Ladies fell in love with Matt Linnen!"
"Ladies can't stop loving stunning Matt Linnen!"
Awake for fifteen minutes, and already I've been told that I don't exist.
The homophobic posts come from The X-Factor Britain, an amateur musician competition that premiered in 2004, and ran for 445 episodes. Not a very gay-positive environment: in 2016, Pink News reported that gay X Factor singer Bradley Hunt and his singing parter Ottavio were "booted off" after weeks of homophobic abuse by fellow contestants and of course host Simon Cowell.
Matt Linnen was a plasterer from Southend-on-the-Sea, Essex, who appeared in X-Factor Season 14 in 2017, moving up the ranks with songs like "La Vida Loca" and "If I Were a Boy." He was eliminated in the semi-finals, but several of his song are available for downloading on Discogs and Apple Music.
Wait -- "If I Were a Boy"?
If I were a boy, even just for a day
I'd roll outta bed in the morning, bnd throw on what I wanted and go
Drink beer with the guys, and chase after girls
Oh, it's about being heterosexual.
The sudden fame gave Matt 10,000 Instagram and 16,000 Facebook followers.
Now he seems to be involved with live concerts. Here he poses with the Irish group Nothing But Thieves. I like the short guy.
And with a circus group?
More Matt after the break.
The explicit photo. He is in the bathroom, asking his companion to: "Show me what you would do with that." He is referring to a brush to scrub his back, of course.
That's not a lot of explicit photos for a post, so I included one of Adam Garcia, who starred in Coyote Ugly. I didnd't see it.
Given that Matt was allowed on The X-Factor and sings about girls, I doubt that he is gay in real life. But he mentions that after this concert he's going to Heaven, the iconic gay club in London.
And googling Matt and "gay" yields the G-Scene, a magazine for the gay community of Brighton & Hove. It's in Essex, on the other side of London from his home town. But that's not him on the cover. Maybe he's inside somewhere.
The top photo isn't him, either. It's a French model named Marcus Chevalier.
I researched Marcus, too. He's got a wife and kids, plus a dog and a lizard. Maybe I should go back to bed until the homophobic reader stops flagging my posts for saying "gay"
