Max Morrow: Jacob Two-Two, Bobby Brady, and Connor Underc*ver grows up. With stuff that scares the Blogger super-Puritan a-holes

Max Morrow is one of the most frustrating actors that I've ever researched. Prime Video, Apple TV, Rotten Tomatoes, Amazon, FilmAffinity, TV Tropes, and the IMDB all say exactly the same thing: "Max Morrow was born on January 7, 1991. He is an actor and assistant director..." But nothing else. No biographical information online, no resume. no interviews or news articles.  There are at least 20 Max Morrows with Instagram, Linkedin, and Facebook accounts, but not the right one.

So here's what we know:

29 acting credits, beginning with Noddy (1998), about a toy shop run by Muppets, which spun off into a 44-episode Noddy TV series.

His most famous roles are in:

Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang (1999): Jacob (Max), so called because he repeats everything twice, is sentenced to a mystical child-prison.  Mark McKinney of The Kids in the Hall, backside on RG Beefcake and Boyfriends, plays Mr. Fish.

Monk (2002): Max plays Benjy Fleming, the young son of Sharona Fleming, whom the fan wiki calls an antagonist, but seems to help the mentally ill detective quite often.  Benjy looks up to Monk as a surrogate father. 

The Brady Bunch in the White House (2002).  The "story of a lovely lady" and her gay husband ran from 1969 to 1974, then spun off into four new tv series and three movies. In this one, the Bradys get a winning lottery ticket which results in Mike Brady becoming president.  Well, it beats the Electoral College.

Max plays Bobby, the youngest son.

In case you were wondering, Gary Cole (not fully clothed on RG Beefcake and Boyfriends) plays Mike.

Chad Doreck plays Greg.

And Blake Foster (also not fully clothed, doing stuff in a video)  plays Peter.

I started this profile in the first place because of Connor Underc*ver (2009-2011), a teen adventure series with ordinary kid Connor (Max) roped into becoming a spy. All of the photos on the teen idol site show him working with his sidekick, "Whynot Wynott" (Jordan Francis, right).  They're only together in 15 of the 39 episodes, but there may be some gay-subtext buddy-bonding.

But the episode synopses make Connor into a stereotypic girl-crazy teen, with a special interest in his houseguest, a princess hiding out from assassins.  She, of course, thinks that he's "arrogant." Ugh.

Warehouse 13 (2011): Two "will they or won't they" secret service agents are assigned to investigate the paranormal objects stored in a mysterious warehouse. Tyler Struhl (Max) appears in three episodes as a criminal turned computer hacker.

Hard Bitten (2012) is a short about two cops trying to deal with the mayor's dog, who has...um..bitten someone. 

And then his acting career ends. Presumably he retired to go to college.

He returns in 2015 as assistant director or producer or both for Ben (a boy and a girl in love), Big Fat Joke,  The Perfect (censored), (about men dating women); and Project Bakeover.   

Recommended for You (2015) might have a gay-subtext buddy bond.  Two guys like to "Netflix and chill," but a demonic force issues from their tv set.

Otherwise it's heteronormativity all the way down. Well, except for this photo.  I don't know what Max is trying to portray here.

Google Images thinks that this is Max Morrow, but I think it's Rob Morrow, no relation.

And this isn't our Max, either. 

No social media presence, but given the movies Max is producing, I'd say that he's straight in real life.

Not a lot of payoff for this actor, or former actor, but at least we saw Peter Brady doing stuff.
