Link to the n*de photos
Now down to business: I don't have enough profiles of disabled actors, so I checked some lists of deaf, CP, and Down Syndrome actors, looking for someone cute, male, and gay. The Real Zack G popped up, wishing us Happy Pride. Notice the "Love is Love" pillow behind him.
Promising, but he also marched in a Martin Luther King Day parade, so maybe he's just an ally.
After I figure out the guy's last name, I'll check the usual: Any gay roles? Gay in real life? Any n*de...
Looks like that one's been taken care of. There's two n*de and underwear photos on RG Beefcake and Boyfriends.
His name is Zack Gottsagen, and his most famous role is in The Peanut Butter Falcon (198(). I didn't see it, because who cares about falcons made of peanut butter, or guys running around with watermelon rind helmets?
Actually, it's about a guy who breaks out of an assisted living facility to attend a wrestling school -- his pro name will be the Peanut Butter Falcon of the title.
He befriends a fisherman on the run from his rivals. Eventually they hook up with sympathetic social worker Eleanor, and "start a new life as a family," so I'm assuming that it's a fraternal bond, not a gay-subtext romance.
The fisherman buddy is played by the homophobic Shia LaBeouf (d*ck on RG Beefcake and Boyfriends), so definitely a fraternal bond.
Zack Gottsagen grew up in Boynton Beach, Florida, with two moms -- who "have nothing but good things to say about Shia LaBeauf," according to a profile in The Sun-Sentinel. Maybe the dude has changed?
More after the break
After appearing in an instructional video on childbirth and a Western featuring disabled actors, Zack was cast in The Peanut Butter Falcon, which got him some "breakthrough performer" awards and a gig presenting at the Academy Awards in 2020.
His more recent acting roles include three feature films:
Best Summer Ever (2020) is about a girl and boy in love at summer dance camp. The girl has two moms, on-the-run drug dealers, so that's representation, sort of. Zack plays a cheerleader.
God Save the Queens (2022): Four drag queens at a therapy retreat. Peter Facinelli (n*de on RG Beefcake and Boyfriends) plays the drag club manager. Zack plays a drag queen fan in a bubblegum-pink wig.
Sacramento River Cats Project (2023), about a baseball team, filmed but not released.
Night Always Comes (2025): Lynette and her brother (Zack) "set out on a dangerous odyssey, confronting her dark past over the course of one propulsive night." First rule of creative writing: cut down on the stupid, useless, annoying adjectives!
I figured she would be a lesbian, but no, she dates Eli Roth (d*ck on RG Beefcake and Boyfriends).
And three shorts:
At Last (2020): A high school girl "reveals her truth" on the night of her senior prom. Zack plays her prom date. We aren't told what the truth is, but the trailer shows that she wore a tuxedo to the dance, and she's gazing at another girl, so presumably she's coming out.
Friend Draft (2023): A male-female couple holds a draft to see who gets to keep which friend after the divorce. Zack plays one of the friends.
Day 21 (2025), written, directed by, and starring Dashiell Meier: A group of friends with Down Syndrome find themselves in a world where all the neurotypical people have vanished.
With so many gay-adjacent roles, I'd identify Zack as gay in real life, except for:
1. The music video "What's Done is Done," about the meaning of life. Hint: it's about growing old with the Girl of Your Dreams.
2. On the IMDB, he lists his orientation as straight.
Dashiell Meier: Disability rights advocate, filmmaker, athlete, he/him pronouns, no sexual orientation listed, and he works out with football player Sam Roush (top photo). You're next, buddy.
See also:Shia LaBeouf: From gay-subtext teencom to heterosexual porn. At least he shows us his d*ck a lot.
The top 15 hunks of "The Twilight Saga," with some n*de vampires and werewolves. With Peter Facinelli.
