Keith Walker: Cop, jogger, waiter, basketball player, Melvin, the Richest Man in Babylon

I wanted to research the Keith Walker who played a waiter on Nobody Wants This.

He's got 10 acting credits on the IMDB, beginning in 2011, with "Melvin" in Red Hook Black, and going on to Student Volunteer, Process Server, Waiter, Jogger, and, in 2024, a starring role: Thomas in Spread, about the adult magazine industry.

Except it's about women, with no gay characters and no male n*dity.

When you google "Keith Walker" and "actor," you get the Keith Walker who wrote the screenplay for Free Willy and died in 1996, and the writer/director of Best Weekend Ever, a humanist and "future philanthropist"

When you search for "Keith Walker" and "nude," you get a thousand news stories about a guy arrested for s*xting,  another who spent 30 years in prison before a judge ordered his release.

Plus Ricardo Walker, top photo.

Michael E.R. Walker, on RG Beefcake and Boyfriends.

And for some reason, Robert Le Tourneaux, the actor and model who starred in the original gay-themed Broadway play, The Boys in the Band.

Keith's Instagram doesn't tell us much. He's from Los Angeles. He studies at the Gloria Gifford Acting School.

In addition to film, he's starred in several stage plays, including The Art of Dining, and The Motherf*ker with a Hat.

I figured it had a gay-theme, since he's holding hands with his costar, but he is actually making friends with the guy who slept with his wife.

More after the break

He's close to his family, and especially his younger brother.

Searching for "Keith Walker" and "gay" yields a transman activist and the head of the Long Island Gay & Lesbian film festival.

Keith doesn't mention any romantic partners on his Instagram, but he watches basketball, he "makes love" to music -- I never heard a gay guy use that term -- and he is reading The Richest Man in Babylon.

I always thought that book was about finding God, but it's like the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition, how to get rich: save 10% of your annual income; limit luxury expenditures; invest; avoid get-rich-quick schemes; buy instead of rent; get a job with a pension; learn new skills so you can diversify.

That sounds like good advice, but he wants to turn it into an animated film to teach the kids its "great values."  Uh-oh, materialist.  Gay guys are rarely materialists. They're usually more into Keats:

Beauty is truth, truth beauty.  That's all you know on Earth, and all you need to know.

At least Keith has the beauty part.
